Consulting is seeking an experienced and talented Analyst Programmer to join
our agile team in Sydney.
The successful candidate will be responsible for
the end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of data warehousing
projects and applications.
Responsibilities:Perform ETL transformation
processes and write complex SQL's using different databases such as
Redshift(AWS), NetezzaCreate interactive reports and
dashboards using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, scorecards
and cubes using Relational Models, DMR and OLAPEnd-to-end implementation,
enhancement and migration & support of data warehousing projectsAnalyze system requirements and
develop technical designsDesign, code, test and install
applications programs either in one major language or in a range of
programs across multiple platformsDevelop and maintain operating
and system documentationEnsure systems are developed
within agreed budgets and time frames and achieving necessary design and
systems security standardsDevelop and maintain application
software, cubes, data warehouses, databases, and cloud infrastructureWrite, update and maintain
technical program, end-user documentation,



and operational proceduresProvide technical mentoring and
guidance to junior team membersRequirementsRequirements:Degree in computer science or
relevant fieldRelevant work experience is
desiredSkills in one or more of the
major programming languages (either 'legacy' or 'hot') such as Java, XML,
SQL, PL/SQLKnowledge of one of the major
relational database packages such as Oracle, SQL ServerAbility to work autonomously or
in a team environment, directly dealing with customers and other
stakeholdersAnalytical thinker with a
positive and helpful attitudeStrong communication skills both
oral and writtenAdvanced knowledge and
understanding of the full SDLC.
Experience in both Waterfall and Agile development
project environments is highly desirableExperience using JIRA and
ConfluenceStrong understanding of SOA, web
