DescriptionWe are currently partnering with a progressive regional health service to recruit a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist in Intensive Care Medicine to join a growing and well-supported ICU team on the Fraser Coast.This role is based within a major regional referral hospital (Tier 2 facility) forming part of a broader health service supporting approximately 225,000 residents across the Wide Bay region.The hospital provides a comprehensive range of services including emergency, medical, surgical, paediatrics, maternity and critical care, with robust integration across multiple sites including Bundaberg and surrounding rural facilities.The ICU department supports the Fraser Coast region and offers:A broad case mix including medical, surgical and emergency presentationsClose collaboration with ED, Anaesthetics and inpatient teamsStabilisation and management of critically unwell patients with transfer pathways to tertiary centres where requiredStrong involvement in teaching, supervision and regional training pathwaysYou will play a key role in:Delivering high-quality intensive care servicesSupervising and mentoring junior doctors and traineesParticipating in clinical governance, audit and researchContributing to after-hours and on-call ICU rosterSalary & Package (as per QLD Health Award)L25 – L27: $259,072 – $274,678 p.a.L18 – L24:
