As a Senior Associate Engineer – Roads & Highways (Pavements), you'll provide technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of major road, highway, airport and transport infrastructure projects.
You'll be recognised as a subject matter expert, guiding project teams, mentoring engineers and influencing technical outcomes while helping to grow and strengthen our pavements capability across New South Wales.This is an opportunity to play a key role in client engagement, project leadership and business development while delivering innovative, technically excellent solutions that help shape the future of transport infrastructure.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead pavement engineering design and technical delivery across major infrastructure projectsAct as a technical authority for pavement design, rehabilitation and asset management solutionsProvide strategic technical guidance to project teams and clientsLead multidisciplinary project delivery and quality assurance activitiesDevelop and maintain strong client relationships across government and private sector marketsSupport business development activities, proposals and pursuitsMentor and develop engineers across the pavements and broader transport teamsDrive innovation,
technical excellence and best-practice engineering outcomesContribute to capability growth and strategic planning within the Roads & Highways businessAbout YouSuitable applicants will be/have:Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent12+ years' experience in pavement engineering and transport infrastructureDemonstrated expertise in pavement design, rehabilitation and asset managementExtensive knowledge of Austroads guides, TfNSW standards and Australian StandardsChartered Engineer status (or eligibility to obtain)Proven experience leading major infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teamsStrong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilitiesExperience preparing and overseeing technical proposals and project bidsExcellent communication, leadership and mentoring skillsA recognised reputation for technical excellence within the transport infrastructure industryHow To Apply All applications must be submitted online.
