Overview / Responsibilities
Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services and project support in the water industry.
These services cover South East Queensland across multiple locations.
Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing Project Engineering support to Seqwater's Major Projects Team, to support Project Manager's in the developing and executing Major Capital Projects.
Based at the Mount Crosby Water Treatment Plant, this role will require effective planning, scheduling, cost control, coordination to support the Major Capital Project team ensuring the objectives are met within the required time frames.
At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.
ResponsibilitiesProject Engineering support for the development of assigned Capital ProjectsContribute to the ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of the Seqwater asset management system by developing a detailed understanding of the scope, function and nature of the assets used in water treatment, supply system and bulk water storageObserve and comply with all Seqwater work health and safety, quality and environmental management systems and proceduresUndertake other duties,



which are assignedExperienceKnowledge and experience of workings of Seqwater / Water industry assets and TMR specifications would be advantageous 3-5 year's Project Engineering experience in the Utilities or Oil/Gas industriesTertiary or Qualified Qualification in a Mechanical or Civil disciplineProficient Computer Skills (MS Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word)
Qualifications
Three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience will be highly regardedQualifications in an applicable area of mechanical / civil engineering requiredRPEQ will be considered favourablyCurrent "C" class Queensland drivers' licenseIf you're an experienced Project Engineer, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today.
