resolving a connectivity issue or supporting the technology requirements of a new AMA Group site.You'll work alongside our broader IT team to solve problems, keep our people productive and make technology easier for our employees to use.What you'll get involved inBe the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requestsTroubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, mobile devices, printers and connectivitySet up and deploy laptops, computers, mobile devices and other IT equipmentSupport employee onboarding, offboarding and access changesComplete standard administration across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra IDTroubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and basic network connectivity issuesOwn support tickets through to resolution and keep users informed along the wayWork with specialist IT teams and external providers to resolve more complex issuesMaintain IT assets, equipment and stockDevelop user guides, knowledge articles and support documentationGet involved in new site openings, relocations, testing and other IT projectsIdentify recurring problems and help us continually improve the employee IT experienceWhat we're looking forTechnical capability matters, but so does how you work with people.You'll be someone who is curious, practical and enjoys figuring things out.
You communicate clearly, take ownership and don't consider a ticket resolved until the person at the other end is back up and running.Ideally, you'll bring:Experience in an IT Service Desk,
Help Desk or end-user support roleWorking knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra IDConfidence setting up and troubleshooting computers, mobile devices, printers and peripheralsAn understanding of Wi-Fi, VPN and basic network troubleshootingExperience with an IT ticketing or service management systemStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGreat communication skills and a genuine customer-service mindsetThe ability to prioritise and stay organised in a busy environmentA collaborative attitude and, importantly, a willingness to keep learningA full driver's licence and ability to occasionally travel to AMA Group sitesExposure to Microsoft Intune, ITIL practices or business applications, along with relevant IT qualifications or certifications, is advantageous – but not essential.Why join AMA Group?
