This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of consulting projects across Australia.The opportunityIn this role, you'll work closely with Team Executives and Project Managers to help deliver high-quality project outcomes while ensuring financial and operational performance is maintained.
You'll be instrumental in supporting project controls, financial tracking, and portfolio management activities that drive successful delivery.You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy working with data, improving systems, and supporting teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.What you'll doSupport the successful delivery of a portfolio of EHS projects in line with best practice project management principlesPartner with Project Managers to manage budgets, track costs, validate invoicing, and support project close-outMonitor project performance including margins and labour multipliers, identifying risks and opportunitiesAssist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and insights for leadershipCoordinate project reviews, track actions,



and follow up on deliverablesIdentify and escalate project or portfolio "red flags" to support proactive managementSupport procurement processes and supplier engagementContribute to time tracking, reporting, and invoicing activitiesCollaborate with Project Finance Specialists to maintain accurate financial forecastsChampion health, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport initiatives that enhance client experience and project delivery outcomes About youYou're a detail-oriented and systems-minded qualified who brings structure and clarity to complex project environments.
You're confident working across multiple priorities and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.You'll also bring:A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline2–6 years' experience in project coordination, project support, or similar rolesWorking knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g. PMI)Experience with project controls, cost tracking, or financial reportingStrong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skillsExperience in consulting environments and/or PMP certification (desirable) What we offerAt WSP, we're committed to supporting our people to thrive.
