As our Executive Assistant and Project Support Officer, you'll play a pivotal role supporting the Director Corporate Services and the broader Directorate.
This is far more than a traditional executive assistant position.
You'll be a trusted partner, providing strategic, operational and project support while acting as a key liaison across all levels of the organisation.You'll have the opportunity to contribute to key strategic initiatives, coordinate high-level activities, support Directorate planning and governance processes, and help deliver outcomes that make a meaningful difference to our organisation and community.What You'll Be DoingProvide high-level executive support to the Director Corporate ServicesProactively manage a complex and dynamic schedule, ensuring effective time management and forward planningPrepare correspondence, briefing notes, reports, presentations and communicationsCoordinate Directorate meetings, workshops, events and stakeholder engagementsMonitor and coordinate actions arising from Directorate projects and strategic initiativesManage Directorate administration systems, records and compliance requirementsSupport Directorate planning,
service delivery and business improvement activitiesUndertake research, analysis and reporting to support informed decision-makingCoordinate travel, accommodation and related administrative requirementsLiaise with senior leaders, Elected Members, employees and external stakeholdersAssist in managing the Corporate Services' administration budgetSupport the implementation of special projects and organisational initiatives as directedPosition DescriptionQualificationsWhat You'll BringWe're looking for a highly organised professional who can balance competing priorities while delivering exceptional service and maintaining absolute confidentiality.You'll ideally bring:Tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in a similar executive support roleExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailAdvanced written and verbal communication skillsExperience preparing reports, briefing notes, presentations and executive correspondenceStrong research, analytical and problem-solving capabilityDemonstrated project coordination and administration experienceExcellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsProven ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgement and manage competing deadlinesHigh levels of discretion, integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive mattersStrong Microsoft Office and technology skillsA commitment to customer service,
