We are seeking an exceptional educator to lead and inspire Design and Digital Technologies learning across our Junior School from the beginning of the **** academic year.This is a wonderful opportunity to shape the digital capability, creativity and innovation mindset of students.The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Junior School to design and deliver effective and collaborative Design and Digital Technologies programs that enhance learning outcomes for our students.You will be required to:Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Design and Digital Technologies lessons for our Junior School studentsFoster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration through hands on learningIntegrate digital technologies, coding, robotics, and inquiry-based learningSupport classroom teachers with integration across the curriculumCreate a safe, inclusive,
and engaging learning environmentYou will have:Queensland College of Teachers registrationDemonstrated experience in a similar role within a Primary school settingHighly developed classroom teaching skillsDemonstrated ability to support colleagues to implement and integrate information and communication technology into teaching and learningStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetCommitment to student wellbeing and continuous professional growthSkills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employeesAn ability to work both independently and as part of a teamWe offerA vibrant and welcoming school communityA supportive and collegial professional learning environmentStrong commitment to staff development and wellbeingA values-driven community focused on excellence, care and serviceChild Safety CommitmentSt John's Anglican College is committed to promoting the safety, wellbeing and best interests of children.
