ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the CFO you'll be responsible for end-to-end Financial Reporting for a growing Fintech, taking ownership of financial planning, reporting, and compliance on a part-time basis. You'll report to the CFO and work closely with the executive team to support growth while maintaining strong financial controls and governance. Please note this is a fully remote,

part-time position for an initial

6 month Fixed term contract with view to go permanent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and controls.
Support audit and compliance activities, including interaction with external auditors and regulators.
Lead a small finance team and mentor junior staff where applicable.




Contribute to financial strategy and business planning initiatives.

ABOUT YOU
Qualified accountant (CPA, CA or equivalent) with 7+ years' experience in finance management roles.
Robust experience with SaaS, fintech or high-growth technology businesses (essential).
Proficient in financial systems and reporting tools;

experience with cloud-based accounting software preferred.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proactive problem-solver with solid attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively across a 3-day week.
