Registered Nurse – General Practice

Casual or Part time | Ross Street Surgery | Inverell, NSW

Ross Street Surgery is seeking an experienced and caring Registered Nurse to join our general practice team on a casual or part-time basis. Flexible rostering available.

This position would suit a reliable and organised nurse who enjoys working in a friendly, patient-focused setting and can confidently manage a varied general practice workload.

Key responsibilities
Childhood and adult immunisations
Wound care and dressing changes
Health assessments and care planning
Chronic disease management support
ECGs, spirometry and other clinical procedures
Infection control and cold-chain management
Assisting GPs with minor procedures
Maintaining accurate clinical records
General treatment-room duties

Essential requirements
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Current Nurse Immuniser qualification/accreditation
Current CPR certification




Solid communication and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach

Desirable
Previous experience working in general practice
Experience or competency in suturing
Experience with Best Practice software
Experience in wound care, health assessments and chronic disease management

The position is available on a casual or part time basis, with working days and hours to be discussed with the successful applicant. Competative salary dependendant on Part Time or Casual and experience.
