Lead and oversee daily payroll operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness and quality standardsMotivate and guide the payroll team to deliver accurate, timely and customer-focused payroll servicesDrive adoption of updated workflows and technologies and ensure team proficiencyAnalyse and validate payroll dataProduce detailed reports for management, customers and regulatory bodiesCollaborate on improving payroll policies and complianceMentor team members and maintain strong stakeholder relationshipsSupport business reforms and service deliveryImplement the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and uphold its Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECGRequirementsAppropriate tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline, or demonstrated successful experience in stakeholder/customer engagement in a Shared Services/Payroll environmentDemonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public educationDemonstrated expertise in supporting and guiding payroll teamsKnowledge of payroll operations, data analysis and validation, reporting, workflows, technologies,
