Your Core Duties and Responsibilities:
To maintain the quality of the food products served
Ensuring food quality and taste is of the highest standard
Responsible to ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked
Responsible to maintain health and high hygienic standard in Kitchen area
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Responsible to manage stock inventory and supplies
Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
Controlling and minimizing food wastage
Responsible to cook menu in a timely manner with the support of the kitchen staff
Ensure appealing plate presentation
Slightly modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests
Discusses food preparation issues with managers,



and other staff members
Requisitions food, kitchen supplies and equipment

Qualifications and Experiences:
Relevant commercial cookery qualification, such as Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification
At least two years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen
Knowledge of Korean cuisine and traditional Korean cooking techniques is highly desirable
Solid organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
