Mecca Recruitment Group is dedicated to providing effortless, streamlined, and transparent recruitment solutions for clients and candidates.We're partnering with a respected investment services business seeking a SeniorFund Accountant— someone who rings strong technical depth across NAVs, financial reporting, and fund operations while driving high‐quality outcomes for clients.This role suits an experienced Senior Fund Accountant or Fund Accountant ready to step into a position with genuine ownership, people leadership, and visibility across recent fund setups, migrations, and ongoing service delivery.What you'll be doingReviewing and overseeing daily, monthly, and quarterly NAVs and unit pricingEnsuring accuracy across reconciliations, fund accounting packs, and financial statementsOverseeing tax components including BAS/GST, distributions, taxable income reviews, and ITR working papersManaging the onboarding of new clients and fund structuresOverseeing new fund setup in Paxus and ensuring data integrity during migrationsCoordinating with Custody, Unit Registry, Risk, and Relationship teams to ensure seamless operational deliveryManaging issue registers,



resolving escalated client queries, and maintaining service excellenceSupporting audits, regulatory reporting, and ASIC lodgementsDriving process improvements, workflow optimisation, and team capability upliftWhat you'll bring5+ years' experience in fund accounting, with exposure to managed funds, investment structures, and end‐to‐end fund operationsStrong technical capability across NAVs, reconciliations, financial statements, and tax componentsExcellent Excel skills and strong analytical capabilityA proactive, detail‐driven approach with the confidence to lead a team and engage with senior stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple onboarding projects while maintaining accuracy under pressureWhy this role stands outBlend of technical fund accounting, people management, and project‐based onboarding workExposure to new fund setups, migrations, and system improvementsOpportunity to deepen your Paxus and fund operations expertiseA role with visibility, ownership, and the ability to shape team culture and performance
