We're looking for an experienced and energetic Events Team Leader to join our Events team at Southport Sharks.This is a hands on leadership role where no two events are the same.
From school graduations and conferences to gala dinners, MMA events, major poker tournaments and large scale functions, you'll help lead the team through the setup, service and successful delivery of a diverse events calendar.What you'll be doingDoing, leading and supporting the Events team during setup, service and pack downExecuting event requirements to ensure smooth and professional deliveryProviding hands on Food & Beverage service alongside the teamSetting clear expectations and keeping the team engaged during busy eventsWorking closely with Kitchen and operational teams across the ClubMaintaining high standards across presentation, service,



safety and guest experienceTroubleshooting on the floor and adapting quickly when plans changeWhat we're looking forYou'll have previous experience working in events, supported by robust Food & Beverage knowledge and a genuine interest in stepping into a leadership role.You'll be someone who is organised, confident communicating with a team and happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved.Previous supervisory experience is an advantage, but this could also be the perfect opportunity for an experienced Events or F&B; team member who is ready to step up and lead.Why Southport Sharks?
