It's a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in technical environments and takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient site operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport gas and mechanical trades in daily site operationsPrepare and maintain clean, safe, and organised work areasOperate forklifts and assist with material and equipment handlingUse hand and power tools to assemble and install componentsMeasure, cut, bend, thread, and assemble stainless and mild steel tube and pipeInterpret and work from isometric and P&ID; drawingsAssist with equipment positioning and installationLiaise with engineers,



technicians, and suppliers regarding design, testing, and partsUpdate and mark up technical drawings as requiredSupport commissioning and testing activitiesThis role includes intermittent rostered shift work for short periods (up to two weeks at a time) during 24/5 or 24/7 R&D; smelter operational trials.About YouHighly regarded:Dogging High Risk Work LicenceExperience within steel smelting environments (e.g. blast furnace, arc furnace, casting)Background in engineering, fabrication, or heavy industryYou are reliable, safety-focused, and enjoy working as part of a cooperative team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Why Join?
