Set-Up Technician and Tool Crib AttendantPay$***** per hourThe OpportunityPrecious Plate is creating a recent position – Setup Technician / Tool Crib Attendant – and is seeking an experienced line operator to fill the role.
The position would report to the Tool Crib Supervisor, with a standard work schedule of M-F, 7am- 3pm.
Overtime may be required.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssembling tooling and paperwork required for plating line changeover in advance,



which would include things like:Masking beltsStripe toolsFace platesSpot toolsContactsTraveler and associated check sheetsAny other items needed for a changeover that can be prepared in advancePreparing changeover plannersAssisting with changeovers when availableInspection and organized storage of tooling and equipment removed during changeoversPreparing for PM cyclesAssembling replacement partsLocating and staging empty drumsAssisting with PM efforts when availableFrequent interaction with Production Manager, Production Foremen, Operators, Engineering, and othersMaintaining a tour-ready workstationStripping / wire wheeling of brush contacts to prepare them for re-brushingRepair activities to include plumbing, drilling, tapping, assembly work, and installing inserts & taping of faceplatesOperate bench grinders, wire wheel, drills, sanders, and other various hand toolsOrganize, store and inventory all plating equipment & interleaf paper Continuously supports plant-wide housekeeping initiativesMaintains a "tour ready" tool crib at all times.Supports company goalsParticipating on 5S teams to help implement and sustain 5S initiatives throughout the facilityParticipate in 5S audits and report findingsCollect information about occurring non-conformities and hazards in areas and assist with identifying opportunities for improvementPerform daily responsibilities in support of 5S:
