About the role

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the larder and dessert sections, ensuring all dishes are prepared to a consistently high standard throughout service. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality food, presentation and working as part of a professional team.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and organise everything in place for the larder and dessert sections
Prepare salads, cold dishes, sauces, garnishes, and other larder items
Prepare and plate desserts to a high standard
Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Maintain stock levels and minimise food wastage
Follow food safety, hygiene,



and kitchen procedures
Keep your section clean, organised, and well maintained
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
Assist other sections when required

About you
Previous experience as a Cook in a café, restaurant, pub, hotel, or steakhouse
Experience working in larder and/or dessert sections
Solid attention to detail and presentation
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Passion for quality food and hospitality
