Dental Assistant – Casual | Dee Why

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team at Coastal Smiles Dental on a casual basis.

This is a rewarding prospect for someone who values teamwork, quality dentistry, and a positive workplace culture within a contemporary and supportive dental practice. It is also suitable for someone looking to start or grow their career in dental assisting, with training provided for the right candidate.

About the Role
Primarily Wednesday and Friday afternoons, with additional shifts available as required (Approx. 8–20 hours per week initially)
Provide chairside assistance across general dental procedures
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to a high clinical standard
Perform infection control and sterilisation procedures and maintain equipment
Support patient flow and assist the team to ensure an efficient daily schedule
Assist with reception and administrative duties when required
Convenient location close to cafés, shops and public transport

About You
Dental assisting experience preferred but not essential
Strong communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and organisational ability
Friendly,



professional manner and ability to work well within a team
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and patient care
