Managing over 12,**** properties across diverse communities, we are driven by a collaborative team culture and a shared mission to support vulnerable populations through sustainable housing.We are currently seeking resilient and dedicated Caretakers to join our team.
These permanent full time roles are based in Hampton OR Brighton in the South East.
This role is vital in maintaining the quality and safety of our residential assets, ensuring our residents live in well-kept, welcoming environments.The RoleDutiesPerforming general handyperson tasks (minor repairs, painting, upkeep)Daily cleaning to maintain neat and hygienic residential areasSupporting preventative maintenance programs and liaising with contractorsConducting regular site inspections and reporting issuesAssisting with resident move-in's and move outsResponding promptly to resident service requestsProviding friendly, professional customer service with a diverse range of residentsEnsuring safe working practices in line with CHL health and safety policiesAbout YouYou're a team player who loves to contribute and you take pride in maintaining safe and welcoming spaces.
You'll bring:Experience in caretaking,
janitorial or handyperson rolesStrong planning, organisation and time management abilitiesGood communication and interpersonal skills with an openness to working with people from all walks of lifeAbility to take responsibility, work independently and manage multiple tasks to completionBasic IT skills (e.g. property management software, email)A Green/White WHS construction induction card (or willingness to obtain)A current Police, Working with Children Check & Drivers Licence (mandatory) (or willing to obtain)Commitment to the right of every person to quality housingWhy join us?
