We're looking for an experienced, passionate leader who can build a strong team and culture, create an exceptional experience for children and families, and lead the centre through its exciting opening and growth journey.
This is a unique opportunity to truly make the centre your own while being supported by a wider leadership and Support Office team.
About the role
The Centre Leader runs the service.
You are accountable for quality, compliance, people, families and the commercial performance of the centre.
You will report to an Area Manager or Cluster Support Manager.
What you will do
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, the Thrive Quality Framework, the National Regulations and workplace health and safety at all timesLead daily operations and give clear direction to your teamManage enrolments, tours and family onboarding to attract, convert and retain familiesDeliver and monitor learning programs aligned to the EYLF or MTOP and centre philosophyLead continuous improvement through an active Quality Improvement PlanSupport and mentor the Educational LeaderRecruit, induct and onboard your team, and build a culture of feedback, coaching and recognitionManage performance constructively and build succession pipelinesDevelop and deliver the Centre Business Action Plan to achieve occupancy, labour and financial targetsManage the budget,
rostering and resource use in line with business objectivesBuild strong relationships with families and engage with your local community
What you will bring
ACECQA approved qualification in early childhood education: Diploma or Bachelor degreeCurrent ACECQA approved anaphylaxis and asthma trainingValid Working with Children Check for the state the role is based inAccredited child protection trainingExperience as a Nominated SupervisorExperience with the Child Care Subsidy systemMinimum five years' leadership in early childhood or a similar roleStrong business and financial management experienceProven ability to lead teams, hit targets and manage complianceSound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Standard, the Early Years Learning Framework, the WHS Act, the Privacy Act, child protection legislation, the Fair Work Act and family assistance law
