New Store Rollout ManagerFull-Time Permanent | Extensive National Travel Required Lead the Launch.Build the Team.Deliver the Result.4WD Supacentre is the home of Adventure Kings and one of Australia's largest and fastest-growing retailers of 4WD, camping and outdoor adventure equipment.As we continue expanding our national retail network, we are looking for two experienced New Store Rollout Managers to lead the end-to-end delivery of our new store openings.This is a high-impact role for an energetic and commercially focused leader who can bring together people, planning and operations to successfully launch new stores.
You will take ownership of each location from recruitment and setup through to grand opening and operational handover.Extensive travel and extended periods away from home are essential requirements of this role.About the RoleReporting to the Head of Retail and Chief Revenue Officer, you will manage every stage of the new store rollout process.Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the complete rollout of new retail stores from planning through to operational handover
Leading the recruitment, onboarding and training of new store teams
Developing detailed store-opening plans and ensuring milestones are delivered on time
Coordinating store setup activities across Retail, Supply Chain, Marketing, People and Culture, IT, Finance, Merchandising and Operations
Personally assessing and signing off employee training, competencies and operational readiness
Leading grand-opening events and driving achievement of revenue targets
Establishing strong daily and weekly operating procedures
Managing team performance, operational standards and employee fatigue during store openings
Monitoring the ongoing performance of each store after opening
Managing up to three store rollout projects at different stages simultaneously
Providing clear weekly progress reports and rollout plans to senior stakeholders
Contributing to opening stock orders and proactively managing stock requirements




Preparing an After Action Review following each store opening for the Board and senior leadership
Ensuring each store is operating successfully before handing it over to the relevant Area Manager
About YouYou are a highly organised retail leader with strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn a detailed plan into a successful store opening.To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in multi-site retail operations, new store openings, project delivery or retail rollout management
Solid leadership experience, including recruiting, onboarding, training and developing teams
Excellent project management, planning and organisational skills
The ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and tight deadlines
Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to achieve revenue targets
Confidence working with executives and cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Robust attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Flexibility to work varied hours during store deployments and grand openings
The ability and willingness to travel frequently and spend extended periods away from home
A current Australian driver's licence
A valid LF Forklift Licence
