A typical day will involve:Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficientlyReceiving, checking and booking in goods against purchase orders and documentationPicking, packing, processing and dispatching customer ordersDelivering products to customers in a safe, courteous and professional mannerDriving company vehicles while complying with all road rules and traffic regulationsProviding friendly customer service and sales support to local trades and customersAssisting customers with product enquiries, order updates and general branch requestsMaintaining accurate stock records and supporting stocktakesKeeping the warehouse, showroom and yard clean, organised and presentableOperating forklifts and other equipment safelyWorking collaboratively with the branch team to meet customer and operational requirementsSupporting other branch duties as required - we are a small team, and everyone plays an important partUpholding Rexel's solid safety culture and following all workplace health and safety proceduresThis role is ideally suited to someone who is dependable, practical and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.You will be:A current forklift licence - essentialA current and unrestricted driver's licenceA clean driving recordWilling to do what is required to support the branch and our customersComfortable working across warehouse, delivery,



customer service and sales support dutiesFriendly, approachable and committed to providing exceptional customer serviceOrganised, reliable and responsibleA team player with a positive, can‐do attitudePhysically capable of undertaking general warehouse and delivery dutiesSafety‐conscious and committed to working safely at all timesEnthusiastic and willing to learn and develop your skillsPrevious experience in warehousing, logistics, deliveries, customer service, trade counter sales or electrical wholesale would be advantageous.
