About the positionCouncil's City Works teamis looking for a Drainage and Sweeper Operator to help maintain and enhanceCouncil's infrastructure and assets across the Frankston municipality by carrying out civil maintenance, cleaning and operational tasks in line with works programs and safety requirements.The main responsibilities will include:Support civil infrastructure maintenance tasks in accordance with all works programsSafe operation of Councils Street sweeping trucks and equipmentEnsuring all tools, vehicles and equipment are used correctly, maintained in a safe operational condition and all hazards/defects are reported to the Team LeaderMaintain accurate records of completed tasks as required by the Team LeaderThis is a permanent full time role, working 38 hours per week.About youCurrent Driver Licence / Medium Ridged truckConstruction or trades related industry experience with Street Sweeping operatingIndustry experience in road sweeping operating maintenanceExperience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil maintenance andAn understanding of safe work practicesBenefits of working at Frankston City CouncilBe part of a workplace that is looking to transform the way that we work and build on our values "Kinder, Fairer, Smarter".
