About the Role
The Fashion Designer is responsible for designing and developing innovative, commercially successful products that align with the CSB brand and resonate with CSB's global customer.
This role combines creativity, trend awareness, technical knowledge, and commercial understanding to develop products that are both fashion-forward and performance-driven.
Working closely with Product Development, Production, Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative teams, the Fashion Designer translates brand strategy, customer insights, and market trends into compelling product ranges that support business growth and customer loyalty.
The Fashion Designer plays an important role within the Product team, contributing to the development of seasonal and capsule collections and ensuring consistency, quality, and strong design execution across assigned categories.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop seasonal and capsule collections across assigned categoriesCreate innovative, brand-aligned products that balance trend relevance, functionality, and commercial viabilityTranslate market insights, customer feedback, and brand strategy into compelling product conceptsDevelop design concepts, mood boards, colour palettes, prints, graphics, silhouettes, and collection storiesEnsure designs align with the CSB brand aesthetic,



customer expectations, and commercial objectivesPresent design concepts and collections to relevant stakeholdersAchievement of critical path deadlinesEnsure quality and innovation of collectionsMonitor global fashion, activewear, lifestyle, and cultural trends to identify relevant opportunities and emerging trends relevant for the CSB customerDevelop a robust understanding of customer preferences, behaviours, and evolving market demandsCreate design specifications, technical packs, and product documentationReview prototypes, samples, and fit sessions to ensure design intent is maintainedEnsure products meet quality, fit, functionality, and performance standardsDesign products with an understanding of customer demand, assortment strategy, and business objectivesCollaborate with Merchandising and Planning teams to identify product opportunitiesContribute to category growth strategies and future product rangesPartner closely with Garment Technicians, Brand, Marketing, Merchandising, and eCommerce teamsSupport content and campaign teams by providing product storytelling and design rationaleCollaborate on product launches, campaigns, retail activations, and go-to-market initiativesCommunicate design concepts, updates,



and requirements clearly across relevant teamsContribute positively to team culture and ways of workingEffective communication and collaboration
About You
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or related discipline preferredExperience in fashion or activewear designUnderstanding of the CSB customerAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and CADStrong technical drawing and specification development capabilityGood understanding of fabrics, garment construction, fit, grading, and manufacturing processesExperience developing technical packs and managing sample developmentUnderstanding of product lifecycle management systems preferredStrong understanding of global fashion, activewear, lifestyle and cultural marketsExperience designing and developing commercially relevant productsStrong creative and conceptual design skillsStrong commercial awareness and understanding of customer behaviourClear communication and presentation skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyPassion for fitness, activewear, fashion, and contemporary cultureStrong creative taste and design instinctsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
