This isn't a project management role from a distance.Lead Regional Projects, Not Mining Production.We're not looking for someone who simply attends meetings, updates a program and waits for the site team to resolve the difficult issues.We're looking for a Project Manager who takes ownership from kick off to the close out.Someone who understands civil construction, detailed earthworks, roadworks and production.
Someone who can connect what is happening on site with the program, budget, client expectations and contractual requirements.The opportunityWCP Civil delivers civil construction projects throughout regional Western Australia, including bulk and detailed earthworks, roadworks, infrastructure upgrades and works within MRWA assets and operational CBH facilities.Our projects change in location, scale and complexity, instead they require a Project Manager who can establish a clear delivery strategy, support regional teams and maintain control to determine whether a project succeeds.What we're looking forDemonstrated civil construction project management experienceStrong knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, specifications and contractual requirementsPractical understanding of production rates and heavy-plant utilisationStrong financial management, forecasting and commercial awarenessExperience delivering regional infrastructure, industrial or CBH projectsConfidence managing clients, subcontractors and project teamsA proactive approach to planning,
risk management and problem-solvingExperience with Procore or similar project-management systemsWhat we're NOT looking forA coordinator who needs others to take ownership of deliverySomeone who measures progress by activity rather than completed productionA Project Manager who leaves the commercial position until the end of the monthSomeone whose experience is limited to supporting mining operationsSomeone who manages exclusively through emails, meetings and spreadsheetsThe regional differenceWe deliver work throughout regional WA, stay in the communities where our projects are located and operate project-specific drive-in drive-out rosters.The locations change.
