How you will make contributions that matter We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our dedicated and collaborative payroll team, supporting approximately 400 weekly and fortnightly paid employees across multiple manufacturing sites.Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services while supporting employees and stakeholders across the business.Key responsibilitiesEnd-to-end processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls for a predominantly wages-based workforceInterpreting Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and payroll legislation to ensure accurate employee paymentsManaging payroll reconciliations, PAYG, superannuation and statutory reporting obligationsReviewing payroll calculations, leave balances and payroll exceptionsResponding to payroll queries and providing a high level of customer service to employees and stakeholdersProducing payroll reports and analysing payroll data using ExcelSupporting payroll audits and compliance activities as requiredWorking across My Workplace (MWP), Workday, Workforce and Chris21/iChris payroll systems,



with the opportunity to support the transition of employees onto a single workforce management platformContributing to payroll-related testing and system implementation activitiesWorking collaboratively with the broader payroll team to deliver successful weekly and fortnightly payroll cyclesAbout youTo be successful in this role, you'll bring practical payroll experience and enjoy working in a team-focused environment where everyone contributes to the success of the payroll function.Experience processing end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisationStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and/or Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs)Experience using Chris21/iChris payroll systems, highly regardedExperience working with payroll and time and attendance systemsConfidence reviewing payroll calculations, leave entitlements and employee recordsIntermediate Excel skills with the ability to analyse payroll data and reportingStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesA collaborative approach and willingness to support team members during critical payroll periodsExperience within manufacturing, FMCG or other award-based environments will be highly regardedBenefitsWe'll support you withExposure to all aspects of payroll, from processing and compliance through to reporting and statutory obligationsThe opportunity to contribute and support transitionTime & Attendance system projectA supportive and cooperative team culture where team members are cross-trained across the payroll functionFlexible working arrangements,
