We have a vacancy with a south east London borough for an experienced and motivated Trading Standards professional with a sound understanding of legal process who has proven knowledge of Trading Standards legislation.The main purpose of the contract is to do some project work around knives etc. for the Responsible Retailer scheme.It will involves devising and putting together a pack as well as enforcing legislation.It is a small, busy and driven team whose priorities including protecting and safeguarding vulnerable persons, investigating under-age sales, dealing robustly and dynamically with incidents of rogue traders, and undertaking essential product safety work, as well as running a wide range of other projects to suit local,
