This role will see you leading a small payroll team of 4 while overseeing the delivery of accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll services in a high-volume environment.In this role, you'll take charge of the payroll function, guiding your team to meet deadlines, maintain compliance, and deliver exceptional service to the business.
You'll be hands‐on when required, while also focusing on team leadership, reporting, and process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a small payroll team (4 direct reports), providing coaching, support, and regular performance feedbackOversee payroll operations for both Australia and New Zealand,



ensuring accuracy and adherence to legislation (approximately **** employees in total)Monitor and interpret awards, enterprise agreements, and leave entitlementsPrepare and review payroll reports, reconciliations, and journal entries for month-end and year-end cyclesPartner with internal stakeholders to identify efficiencies and streamline workflowsContribute to payroll-related projects and system enhancementsAbout YouProven experience managing or supervising payroll in a large, multi-site businessStrong knowledge of payroll requirements, including award interpretationSkilled in payroll reporting, reconciliations, and problem-solvingFamiliarity with large payroll systemsConfident communicator with a collaborative, hands‐on leadership styleAbility to work in a high volume, fast paced environmentWhat's on Offer$120,000 + superannuation + 10% bonusWork in a modern, supportive, and high-energy environment
