CNC Milling Machine Operator - Acacia Ridge

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mazak Milling Machine Operator to join a well-established precision engineering workshop in Acacia Ridge. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity working with high-end Mazak equipment in a clean, modern workshop. You will complete wide-ranging general engineering work, including components for cement trucks, Franna cranes and defence projects.

$48 Dayshift , $55 Afternoon shift
Rate may be negotiable depending on experience
Temp-to-permanent prospect
Four-day working week, Monday to Thursday
Day shift: 5:55 am-2:20 pm
Afternoon shift: 2:10 pm-12:10 am
Clean, modern workshop with high-quality equipment

Your duties will include
Setting up and operating Mazak CNC milling machines
Manufacturing high-quality components to specifications
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Completing accurate measurements and quality checks




Producing repeat components and completing varied general engineering work
Monitoring machinery and making necessary operating adjustments
Following all workplace safety and quality procedures

To be successful, you will have
Previous CNC milling machine experience
Experience operating Mazak or similar high-end CNC equipment
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Confidence using precision measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
A positive understanding of machining tolerances
A current LF forklift licence is desirable but not essential
A safety-focused approach
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
