We are proud to do work that matters and to stand alongside clients when they need us most.About the RoleWe are seeking a Lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate (2-7 years PAE) to join our growing Civil Liability team.Depending on your experience and interests, you will work across our Asbestos, Public Liability and/or Medical Negligence practice areas.
We are also keen to hear from lawyers with WorkCover or broader personal injury backgrounds who have common law experience and are looking to transition into civil liability practice.You will manage your own matters, work closely with highly experienced practitioners and be exposed to complex litigation that delivers meaningful outcomes for clients.This is an outstanding opportunity for a lawyer looking to take the next step in their career within a leading plaintiff firm.DutiesManage a diverse file load of asbestos,



public liability and/or medical negligence mattersProvide strategic legal advice and exceptional client serviceDraft pleadings, court documents, correspondence, submissions and settlement materialsRepresent clients at mediations, conferences and court hearingsDevelop relationships with clients, medical experts, unions and other key stakeholdersSkills & Experience2-7 years post-admission experience in personal injury, civil litigation or a related practice areaExperience managing common law claims is essentialExperience in asbestos, public liability, medical negligence and/or WorkCover is highly regardedStrong drafting, advocacy and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and client relationship management abilitiesA genuine passion for plaintiff law and helping people achieve justiceCulturePeople join Gordon Legal because they want more than just another legal job.You'll work alongside experienced litigators on complex and meaningful matters that have a real impact on clients' lives.
