EOFY & ChristmasRegular Social Club gatherings & Footy tipping/Melbourne Cup Sweep for funRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Preparation of financial statements (year-end & interim) & tax returnsPreparation of monthly & quarterly BAS/IASLiaison with clients re: missing information & queries etcReconciliation of Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Reckon & other softwareReport to Partners for review, queries & progress on clientsResearch tax-related issues & provide advice to clientsAny other ad-hoc jobs as requiredREQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:5+ years' solid accounting experience in Australian Public PracticeExposure to a broad range of tax, accounting & business matters preferably with previous experience in mid-sized firmsExcellent attention to detailStrong communication & interpersonal skillsFlexible & adaptable approachA desire to learn & work collaboratively as an enthusiastic team playerStrong technical & organisational skillsREMUNERATION:Salary package negotiabledepending on experienceApplicants must submit to a Police check & be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and reside in Melbourne
