Diplomatik is looking for a Labourer with a Forklift ticket to join our client in Townsville, QLD.The role is casual, ongoing for the right candidate and an ASAP start.Monday to Friday from 8.00am till 4.00pmAssembly Operator Responsibilities:Setting up products on the assembly line according to drawings, instructions, or schematicsFollowing established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothlyInspecting assembled products for any faults or defectsLoading product pieces slated for assembly onto the line and packing assembled products into boxes for storageStopping the assembly line and halting production if machinery fails or a major defect is detectedMaintaining a record of mechanical repairs and adjustmentsReporting incidents, faulty operations,



or product imperfections on the assembly line to managementWhat you will bring:At least 1 years experience working on an assembly lineSolid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly proceduresExcellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulationsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematicsGood computer skillsAbility to work under pressure in a rapid-paced environmentGood physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment, as well as stand for hours at a time
