About The RoleReporting to the Senior Engineer - Mining, you will provide technical expertise across mine planning, scheduling, production reporting and operational improvement initiatives.
Working closely with operational teams, geologists, surveyors and drill and blast personnel, you will contribute to safe, productive and sustainable mining outcomes.This role operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off (8/6) roster, providing an excellent work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop short, medium and long-term mine plans and schedulesPrepare mine designs and monitor adherence to planProvide technical advice and support to mine operationsAnalyse mining methods and equipment performance to identify improvement opportunitiesGenerate production reports and support progress claim reportingCollaborate with operational stakeholders to ensure practical and achievable mine plansWork closely with geology, survey and drill & blast teams to optimise mine outcomesSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the operationPromote and demonstrate strong safety leadership and compliance with site standardAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Engineering preferred, Civil Engineering considered)Previous experience within an open cut coal mining environmentStrong mine planning and scheduling capabilityExperience using Vulcan, Deswik,
