We are seeking a passionate and reliable Cook/Chef to join our team at our childcare service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious and child-friendly meals and snacks for the children in our care. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing healthy, balanced meals and enjoys creating a positive food experience for young children.

About the Role
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children each day.
Plan menus that meet children's nutritional and dietary requirements.
Cater for allergies, intolerances and special dietary needs.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
Ensure food preparation and kitchen areas comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Order and manage food supplies within budget.
Work collaboratively with educators and management to support the health and wellbeing of the children.
Maintain accurate records relating to food preparation, temperatures and cleaning.

About You We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in cooking in a childcare, school, commercial or similar setting.
Passionate about preparing healthy and nutritious meals.
Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene requirements.




Confident catering for allergies and dietary requirements.
Friendly, positive and able to work as part of a team.
Committed to creating enjoyable and nutritious meals for young children.
