Reporting to the Print Manager, you will manage the night shift printing operation at the Regency Park site in South Australia.
You will be responsible for the night shift within flexographic printing in producing Surface and Reverse Printing Rewind.Key responsibilitiesMake technical and maintenance decisions concerning the printers and related equipment to ensure products meet customer requirements and product specificationsEnsure that quality requirements and product supply to customers are achieved at the most economical level and optimum plant performanceTrain and develop staff for printing, printer maintenance and related activitiesInitiate improvement in printing production activitiesEnsure night shift Print employees fully comply with all food safety/quality procedures or policiesReview food safety/quality records or other printing production/maintenance information and initiate effective action to correct/prevent defectsEnsure Printer maintenance activities are completed to minimize equipment breakdowns and problemsEnsure that Integrated Packaging's Health & Safety policy and associated policies and procedures are effectively implemented to minimise risk and to provide employees with a safe working environment and protected systems of workAbout youPrinting Trade qualifications or equivalent experience in flexographic printingWell-developed communication, motivational and leadership skillsSound knowledge of industrial Flexible packaging equipment and processesKnowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislative requirementsExcellent working knowledge and problem solving of flexographic printingThe ability to work to tight deadlinesAbout usAn opportunity exists to join a long-term flexible packaging supply company.
