Job DescriptionAs the Health, Safety and Training Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting Council's commitment to creating a safe, capable and high-performing workforce.
Working within a customer-focused environment, you will provide administrative and coordination support for a range of health, safety and training activities, helping to ensure employees have access to the learning and development opportunities they need to succeed.In this varied role, you will support the health, safety & training team in administrative functions, including coordinating safety training programs from start to finish, including scheduling, stakeholder liaison, record management, reporting and supplier engagement.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate records, support compliance requirements and deliver productive health, safety & training administration that contributes to Council's goal of ensuring everyone goes home safe today.About the EmployerTownsville City Council is the largest local government authority in Northern Australia.
