Maintenance Electrician | Food Manufacturing Immediate Opportunity | Permanent Role | Growth opportunities Available
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established food manufacturing business operating a modern, highly automated production facility in South East Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that continues to invest in its people, equipment and site infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Electrical fault finding and breakdown response across production and packaging equipment
PLC fault finding and diagnostics across automated manufacturing lines
Preventative and predictive maintenance activities
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Troubleshooting motors, drives, sensors, VSDs, instrumentation and control systems
Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations and project work
Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with site standards





About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current QLD Electrical Licence (Grade Electrical Licence)
Experience working as a Maintenance Electrician within a food manufacturing, FMCG or processing setting
Strong PLC fault-finding capability
Experience with automated production and packaging equipment
Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, conveyors and industrial control systems
A proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
Full Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available for this position)
