Through your practical skills and commitment to service excellence, you'll help create a community where residents feel supported, valued and proud to call home.Join a collaborative and values-driven team where respect, integrity and quality are at the heart of everything we do.Your OpportunityThis is a permanent full opportunity based at Minto Gardens working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance activities across the village.
Working closely with residents, contractors and village teams, you will ensure buildings, grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.Maintenance & Service DeliveryComplete a range of maintenance tasks safely and efficiently, including repairs, and general handyman dutiesCarry out preventative maintenance programs to ensure facilities and equipment remain in excellent conditionConduct fault finding and minor repairs to appliances and village assetsMaintain buildings,
grounds and common areas to a high standardEnsure tools and equipment are maintained and used safelyIdentify maintenance issues proactively and recommend repairs or replacement works where requiredResident Support and Customer ServiceProvide courteous and professional service to residents, visitors and contractorsSupport residents with maintenance-related requests while respecting their dignity and privacyBuild positive relationships and contribute to a welcoming village environmentUphold Anglicare's values through all interactionsAdministration and ComplianceMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationEnsure work is completed in accordance with organisational policies and proceduresParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service deliverySafety and Workplace CultureFollow all workplace health and safety requirements and protected work practicesReport hazards, incidents and risks in accordance with organisational processesMaintain a clean, safe and organised work environmentContribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace cultureWhat You Will BringYou are practical, reliable and customer-focused, with a genuine commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining high standards.What's required:Experience in general building maintenance, handyman services or a related trade environmentCertificate or qualification in maintenance, building services or a related fieldStrong problem-solving skills and practical approach to maintenance tasksAbility to prioritise work and manage multiple responsibilitiesGood communication and customer service skillsComputer skills,
including Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookWhat's preferred:Experience working within retirement living, aged care or hospitality environmentsCurrent NSW Driver's LicenceWhy Anglicare?
