This organisation delivers essential services and programs that support communities across Central Australia and is seeking a finance professional who can contribute to the smooth operation of a busy finance team.This role offers a diverse mix of accounts, administration, and stakeholder engagement responsibilities and would suit someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and previous experience in a finance or bookkeeping setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and reconcile supplier invoices and payments (Accounts Payable)Manage debtor invoicing, receipting, and collections (Accounts Receivable)Perform bank reconciliations and daily banking activitiesProcess corporate credit card transactions and reconciliationsMaintain petty cash and financial recordsPrepare travel allowance and workshop payment requestsEnter journals and assist with month-end finance activitiesLiaise with suppliers, staff, and external stakeholders regarding finance-related queriesAssist with reporting requirements, audit preparation,



and general finance administrationSupport the broader finance team with ad hoc duties as requiredSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper, or similar roleExperience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsStrong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsExperience using accounting software, preferably Xero, MYOB consideredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesProfessional and friendly approach when dealing with stakeholdersPrevious experience within a not-for-profit or community-focused organisation will be highly regardedWhat's on Offer?
