Graduate opportunity with an experienced multidisciplinary teamOngoing mentoring, supervision and professional developmentMake a meaningful difference to Alice Springs & Aboriginal communitiesAbout Congress:Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service providing comprehensive primary health care to Aboriginal people across Alice Springs and surrounding remote communities.As part of our Allied Health team, you'll work alongside experienced Podiatrists, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Allied Health Assistants, GPs, Nurses and other health professionals in a supportive and culturally safe setting.You'll receive the support you need to transition from university into professional practice, while gaining valuable experience in diabetes, high-risk foot care, community podiatry and remote health.About the Role:Based primarily in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), this is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Podiatrist to develop their clinical skills while working across a diverse range of clients and health programs, including Chronic Conditions, CHSP, NDIS and Medicare.With support from Senior Podiatrists,



you will:Provide person-centred podiatry assessment and treatmentDevelop skills in diabetes and high-risk foot managementGain experience in wound care and offloadingDevelop holistic care plans and support client self-managementWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamParticipate in supervision, mentoring and professional developmentBuild your confidence working with Aboriginal clients and communitiesUndertake outreach to remote communities, including travel and overnight staysAbout You:Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent qualificationCurrent, or eligible for, AHPRA registrationA genuine interest in community and Aboriginal healthPassionate about developing your clinical skills and knowledgeStrong communication and teamwork skillsRespectful, adaptable and willing to learnCurrent driver's licence or ability to obtainWillingness to travel to remote communities, including by light aircraftExperience is not essential — we're looking for a motivated Graduate Podiatrist who is eager to learn and grow.
