The Role
Operate industrial bandsaws to cut steel to required specifications
Measure and prepare material for cutting
Load and unload steel using overhead cranes
Forklift operation
Handle and process steel products
Use basic hand and power tools
Manual handling
Maintain a secure and organised work area

What You'll Need




Bandsaw or similar machine operating experience highly regarded
Experience using overhead cranes
Forklift experience
Good mechanical aptitude
Confidence using hand and power tools
Steel, manufacturing, mining or industrial experience highly regarded

Candidates without steel industry experience will still be considered if you have previous machine operating or warehousing experience and good mechanical aptitude.
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Ability to complete a National Police Check

Day Shift
6:00am - 2:00pm

Afternoon Shift
2:00pm - 10:00pm
Approximately 2 weeks of initial training on day shift
