We specialise in fire protection solutions for major commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, working alongside leading contractors and developers across Australia and New Zealand.About The RoleWe are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Darwin team supporting delivery of major infrastructure and defence‐related projects.This role will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and clients to support the successful delivery of fire protection and associated construction works across multiple projects.The role involves both technical and site‐based project coordination, including subcontractor management, QA/WHS compliance, procurement support, project reporting and engineering coordination.The role will involve coordination of RFIs, technical submittals,
design documentation and stakeholder communication throughout project delivery.This opportunity will suit a hands‐on Project Engineer who enjoys working across all aspects of project delivery and is comfortable working in fast‐paced construction environments.Please note: Due to project requirements, successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC).
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport delivery of projects to ensure works are completed safely, on time and within budgetCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site activitiesAssist with procurement, scheduling and project planning activitiesMonitor QA/QC compliance, inspections and project documentationAssist with RFIs, technical queries, variations and engineering coordinationReview drawings, specifications and project documentationSupport project reporting, cost tracking and progress claimsLiaise with Project Managers, Supervisors, clients and project stakeholdersAssist with implementation and compliance of WHS and environmental requirementsMaintain accurate project records and documentationAbout YouDegree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplineExperience in a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or similar construction/project delivery roleStrong understanding of construction processes and project coordinationExperience coordinating subcontractors and site-based activitiesAbility to interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong communication and problem‐solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively across project teamsExperience with Procore, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is desirableAustralian work rightsSuccessful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC).
