Our productsare sold in more than 130 countries where we create life-changingdiff erences through hearing health.Responsibilities:Offshoring Transition SupportLead the transition of selected finance processes to offshore teamsDocument end-to-end accounting processes and control frameworksDevelop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materialSupport knowledge transfer sessions and onboarding of offshore resourcesMonitor transition effectiveness and resolve process issues during stabilisationAct as the ANZ subject matter expert for transitioned processesFinancial Accounting and ControlsSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activitiesPrepare and review balance sheet reconciliationsMonitor intercompany transactions and reconciliationsReview journals, accruals,
prepayments and accounting adjustmentsAssist in maintaining compliance with IFRS and Demant accounting policiesSupport internal control and audit requirementsResponsible for Balance Sheet RecsBusiness ImprovementIdentify process improvement and automation opportunitiesSupport D365 and other finance transformation initiativesAssist with reporting standardisation across ANZ entitiesHelp establish KPI monitoring for offshore performanceStakeholder ManagementPartner with Finance Managers, FP&A; and Shared Services teamsBuild strong working relationships with offshore counterpartsEscalate risks impacting financial reporting quality or timelinesOtherBe a Point of Contact for the Retail Clinics across Australia and New ZealandCoordinate the issuance of Bank Guarantees with Property Team and Bank and maintain the Bank Guarantee RegisterOther Ad-hoc tasks that may come up with relation to Clinic Governance and relationshipMonthly review and commentary of specific P&L; accounts related to the roleFulfil all audit requirements in a timely and accurate mannerRespond to queries from Group, related to the RoleQualifications:Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting or similar – desiredProfessional Accounting Qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent)Skills and AbilitiesStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven ability to have partnered with the business on process improvementsProven ability to design and implement a strong controls environmentStrong technical knowledge and implementation of current IFRSStrong time management, ability to prioritise and meet timelines under pressure, willing to work with the team to achieve deadlines where needed outside of normal dutiesHighly motivated proactive self-starter who demonstrates initiative and is able to work with minimal supervisionExperience working in a fast paced, deadline focused, high volume role; multi-tasking with attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills,
