Skills and Qualifications Required:
Diploma of Early Childhood Education, Graduate Diploma, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or Masters qualificationCurrent Employee Working with Children CheckFirst Aid/CPR certificationResponding to abuse and neglect trainingOrganised and detail-oriented mindsetInitiative, integrity, and a strong sense of teamworkEnthusiastic approach to Early Years Education
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support room leaders with adding families/staff to TapestryReview and update plans and programs to ensure they are current and aligned with Montessori principlesRead through and approve the 'Montessori Report' for each roomOversee fortnightly programming and observationsEnsure the centre follows the AMIGA yearly topics calendar and that any necessary resources are requestedVerify all rooms' programs and plans are up to dateSupport adherence to the AMIGA Observation PolicyAssist in planning and executing inclusions and excursionsCommunicate with parents regarding Montessori practices and programmingHelp schedule and conduct parent-teacher interviewsWork alongside the Centre Manager/2IC in preparing for all centre events
