This is a hands‐on position suited to an experienced automation professional who can confidently troubleshoot, modify, commission and support PLC and SCADA systems in live operational facilities.Working across a diverse range of industrial sites, you will play a key role in maintaining system reliability, supporting operational teams and delivering automation upgrades and improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced fault finding and troubleshooting of PLC, SCADA and HMI systemsModify, maintain and optimiser control system softwareLead commissioning activities for new installations, upgrades and system modificationsSupport plant operations through reactive and preventative maintenance activitiesInvestigate system performance issues and implement corrective actionsConfigure and troubleshoot industrial communications networks and field devicesPrepare technical documentation and reportsProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians and engineersLiaise directly with site personnel,



maintenance teams and stakeholdersAbout YouYou will be an experienced automation skilled with a strong background supporting industrial control systems within operational environments.Significant experience in industrial automation, control systems or electrical/instrumentation environmentsStrong hands‐on experience with:Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio ****)Siemens PLCs (S7, TIA Portal)Citect SCADA / AVEVA Plant SCADADemonstrated PLC programming, troubleshooting and fault‐finding capabilityExperience commissioning and supporting industrial automation systemsUnderstanding of industrial networking and communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus and ModbusAbility to work autonomously and lead technical activities in the fieldQualificationsElectrical Trade Certificate, Instrumentation Trade Certificate or equivalentCurrent Electrical Licence highly regardedCert IV Instrumentation & Control advantageousDiploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering highly regardedWhat's on OfferSenior technical role with significant autonomyDiverse industrial automation projects and operational support activitiesExposure to leading PLC, SCADA and OT technologiesStrong pipeline of work across critical infrastructure and industrial sectorsAttractive remuneration package and career development opportunitiesIf you're a senior automation professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working directly with customers and operational teams, we'd like to hear from you.
