About the Role
As a Sales Representative at Metzke, you'll play a key role in growing our Reverse Circulation (RC) and Exploration Drilling product portfolio across Australia.
You'll be responsible for:
Developing and executing sales strategies to grow revenue and market presence across AustraliaIdentifying and securing new opportunities within the RC and mineral exploration drilling sectorBuilding and maintaining robust relationships with drilling contractors, mining companies and industry stakeholdersProviding technical product recommendations and application supportConducting site visits and field trials to demonstrate product performance and valuePreparing quotations, proposals, forecasts and market intelligenceRepresenting Metzke at industry events, trade shows and mining conferencesWorking closely with operations, engineering and product support teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomesTravelling regularly throughout Western Australia and interstate to visit customer sites, drilling operations and key industry regions
About You
You are a technically minded sales professional who understands the drilling industry and enjoys building strong, long-term customer relationships.
You are equally comfortable discussing drilling applications in the field as you are identifying commercial opportunities, and you understand how the right equipment can improve performance, productivity and operating costs.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven sales experience within mining, drilling, exploration or a related industrial sectorStrong understanding of Reverse Circulation (RC)



and exploration drilling operationsDemonstrated success in business development and account managementThe ability to communicate technical concepts with operational and executive-level stakeholdersStrong commercial acumen, negotiation and relationship-building skillsA valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout AustraliaAn established network within Australia's mining and exploration industryExperience working directly with drilling contractors and exploration programs
