We're partnering with a well-established organisation undertaking an exciting data and analytics transformation and are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.

This role will play a key part in delivering a backlog of high-priority reporting and analytics initiatives, helping to build scalable data models and empower the business with meaningful insights.

What You'll Be Doing
Design and develop dimensional data models using best-practice methodologies
Create and maintain semantic models within Power BI
Build intuitive dashboards and reports that drive business decision-making
Work across the Microsoft Fabric platform to deliver up-to-date analytics solutions
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting outcomes
Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across reporting assets




Support the ongoing uplift of the organisation's analytics capability

About You You'll be a hands-on Analytics Engineer or Senior BI Developer who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and turning business requirements into impactful reporting solutions. Key Skills & Experience
Solid experience with dimensional modelling (Kimball / Star Schema)
Advanced Power BI development skills, including DAX and semantic modelling
Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric
Robust SQL skills
Experience managing and delivering reporting backlogs
Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
Strong communication and documentation skills
Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Desirable
Experience with Azure Data Services
Data engineering exposure across modern cloud platforms
Understanding of data governance and self-service analytics principles
