We’re on the lookout for skilled Mechanical Technicians / Fitters to join our growing team at

Wangaratta Off Road & Mechanical – Ironman.

If you enjoy working on tough builds, custom fit-outs and making vehicles adventure-ready, this could be the role for you.

We’re a well-established automotive workshop specialising in servicing, upgrades, accessories and full custom 4WD builds. No two days are the same — from routine servicing to suspension installs and full touring setups.

What you’ll be doing:
Vehicle servicing, maintenance, upgrades and modifications
Accessory fitment including suspension, protection, lighting, electrical upgrades, performance parts and aftermarket accessories
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
Making sure all work is completed safely, accurately and to manufacturer specs
Working closely with the team to keep jobs moving smoothly
Keeping your workspace clean, organised and protected

What we’re looking for:
Qualified Automotive Technician or experienced Mechanical Technician (minimum 2 years)




Solid mechanical and basic electrical knowledge
Confident using hand and power tools
Good understanding of vehicle electrical systems (or keen to learn more)
Pride in your work and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team
Positive attitude in a quick-paced workshop
Customer-focused mindset with good communication skills
Current driver’s licence and clean driving record

Salary $70,000 – $80,000 + overtime (based on experience)
