Role Description The Student Intern role at RossiLaw Solicitors is a part time ( 2 days a week), on-site position based in Lane Cove, Sydney. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting solicitors with legal research, drafting and formatting documents, and preparing materials for client meetings/matters.

The intern will help organize case files, manage basic administrative tasks, and support communication with clients and external stakeholders under supervision. The role offers exposure to commercial and business law matters,



providing practical experience in a qualified legal environment and opportunities to observe client interactions and court or tribunal processes where applicable.

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a law degree (or equivalent) with a solid academic foundation in core legal subjects.
Ability to conduct structured legal research, analyze legislation and case law, and summarize findings clearly.
Competence in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal and business documents with attention to detail.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with common office software and research tools (e.g., MS Office, legal databases) and willingness to learn current systems.
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and respect for confidentiality in handling client information.
Interest in commercial and business law, and a proactive attitude toward learning and taking on new responsibilities.
