About the role

We are looking for a friendly, energetic and highly organised Service Receptionist to join our Service Department. This is a varied and key role that combines customer service, administration, vehicle coordination and dealership support. You will be one of the first points of contact for our Service Department and will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a skilled and welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities
Warmly greet and welcome customers to the Service Department
Provide a friendly and professional first point of contact
Answer incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate department or team member
Assist customers with general service enquiries and provide support where required
Maintain a professional, organised and welcoming service reception area
Create and process Repair Orders (ROs) for recent and used vehicles
Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) as required
Accurately cost, invoice and close completed Repair Orders
Coordinate current and used vehicles through the Service Department




Liaise with Sales and Service teams to ensure vehicles are scheduled and progressing as required

Is bubbly, friendly and approachable
Enjoys dealing with customers and providing excellent service
Is confident communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Has excellent attention to detail
Is proactive and naturally looks for things that need to be done
Can work independently without constant supervision
Is teamwork orientated and willing to jump in and help wherever needed
Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
Has good computer and administration skills
Previous automotive dealership, service reception or administration experience is highly regarded
